prologue

this story is told by xan varhuii. we just got word of a full scale attack on trivious a heavly populated planet with the alias of new xaria. shadow used religious conversion to employ more species into their faction. their council consisted of a de facto leader usually a very high ranking, old, raltiont prophet. the current leader was the Prophet of Envy. new xaria had huge defences and we easily made them flee. however they crease jumped to randomized coordinates and we followed. Envy was headed towards an ancient star forge, a massive four ringed object with spining axies. due to the prophet's tactfulness he realeased an EMP blast from his crusier. we were drifting with no power for 8 days. gravity systems were shot and we floated helplesly in space above it. i swam towards the controls. the food we had were anti fatigue pills. nothing else. apparently a special EVA op had been enacted and we found an old generator after searching for 7 days. it broke the instant it started and we hit the ground of the ship with a thud light flashed and controls popped up everywhere. we advanced toward the forge. we landed to be met by a small floating robot with a spherical shape and a blue eye. "greetings! i am monitor 4 of the 8 star forges how may i help my makers' sons?" "sons?" replied our commander "yes, and you are after the prophet yes?" "yea, so were is he?"
monitor 4 said that the enemy forces would be to much for us to handle. "if you can retrieve the sentinel activation key i will be able to help find the prophet and help kill it" it was being held by a titan(augmented raltiont). we fought through the troops and retrieved a different key, the one that allowed a monitor to fire an eye beam. we gave it to the monitor and approached the titan ready to destroy it. "stop titan" "gruff!" shouted the titan. his impact axe at the ready he lunged towards us. "you shall not hurt the pontaris' sons!" yelped monitor 4 as he blasted the titan. "arghg" grunted the titan. the blast of an impact axe emits an EMP so the radius hit monitor 4 "oh no! ahhhh!" yelped monitor as he hit the ground. he floated up and tried to blast again. i grabbed monitor and he flung me onto the titan. "kill him!" he shouted. i went all out on him. he tried to bat me off yet monitor's beam was keeping him down. when the titan's shield broke i stuck him with a magneto grenade. i hopped off and he exploded. i picked up the key gave it to monitor and then hundreds of sentinel minors came. he advanced onward. "there is a gondola up ahead leading to the activation room. "why would he want to activate it ?" i asked. "why to fling it at you of course! thats what it does silly!" we boarded the gondola and it began to move "chuff chuff chuff chuff!" it wheezed and groaned as it began to move. raltiont fighters came and passed trying to kill us. a wall on the other side opened and a 12 sentinel majors popped out, which are larger then the minors and have strong shields. "ha ha ha!" laughed the monitor as the sentinels zapped away the fighters. a capital ship came and fired on the sentinels. then the lake which the gondola was on rumbled and huge platforms opened and massive sentinel  ultras came out. the size of capital ships, they were only used for this kind of stuff. a blast from the ultra's cannon flew straight thru the capital's hull. the gondola docked and we got off. the doors opened and we advanced thru. the prophet was in sight thousands of guards came and tried to kill us. my allies held them off while i advanced toward the prophet. he was sitting in a hover throne with dual gravity cannons. i ran thru several balconies and tried to reach the prophet. an ultra smashed hole in the glass dome and realeased a major. i hopped on the major and it carried me to the prophet's throne which was flying high now. i grabbed the chair and began a sequence of brutal punching to old raltiont. "aggh!" yelped Envy. he fired his gravity cannon and i was flung out of the room thru the hole the ultra made. this was it. i knew i was gonna die. suddenly monitor came and lifted me away. "there you are!" he dropped me back on the throne and the prophet fired again. i jumped off yet the blast hit a major and it fell. monitor fired on Envy but he fired the cannons again. it fried monitor and he fell thru the sky. a major assisted me again and i drew my knife. i threw an EMP grenade that disabled the weapons. i prepared to stab him but he begged for my mercy. he was weak and unarmed. i gave him a fair chance and tossed him a knife. he grabbed it and flung it at me it missed and i stabbed him in his throat and it snapped his neck in the process. we fell thru the air and his body hit the ground with a thud. and i merly got a broken arm. monitor was severely injured "grab the life index.... give it to me" it was on the floor and i grabbed it with my good arm. he took it and was lively as ever. "sorry about your arm would you like me to fix it?" "yes please" i replied. a different beam shot out of his eye and i felt the bone sealing and bonding again it was great. "there good as new!" beamed monitor. "thanks!" we got onto our ship and were ready to leave when monitor came."wait i want to explore the universe too!" it cried. " but the forge will destroy itself." i stated. "pfft! i recently asked for a replacement and here he is Monitor 4b!" "greetings!" we took monitor 4a with us back to xaria were he helps monitor constructions and has helped build many more like himself. they help with everything and even giving a command could make their day. monitor 4 was great at hacking enemy computers, security, and locked doors.
